Bluestone Group recently completed the installation of a new 'permeate to overboard' discharge line on a large luxury cruise ship. This line connects the newly installed advanced wastewater treatment plant (situated in the forward section of the vessel) to the dedicated grey water overboard (located in the aft). This installation includes a recirculation system for periodic pipe cleaning to ensure compliance. The scope of work included: engineering, material supply, and onboard installation of over 250 metric tons of stainless steel piping across 12 watertight compartments. The project was successfully carried out by our teams while the ship was on voyage, without causing any disruption to passenger services. #bluestonegroup #solvingmarinechallenge #piping #project #wastewater
